Hello Students!

As the holiday season approaches, there are a few things that Heritage Student Foundation would like for our students to know:

Preparation for Visiting Guests: The host family may have family and friends who will be visiting for the winter holidays. Please keep your room tidy and neat before and during this time.

Holiday Spending: There is usually a trend of increased spending during the holidays. Please be careful with your finances. While it is nice for students to buy small gifts for their family and friends, students should keep a budget in mind. Cards are also a great way to show your holiday spirit.

Sleepover/Extended Trip Permission Slips: Students are reminded that they will need to have a signed permission slip in order to participate in overnight and extended trips. Permissions slips are not necessary for students traveling with their host family.

Travel Plans: Students are required to inform Heritage Student Foundation of long distance travel. Please inform your coordinator in advance.

Important Holidays to Remember:

Saturday, December 24, 2011: Christmas Eve

Sunday, December 25, 2011: Christmas Day

Monday, December 26, 2011: Kwanzaa begins
